PRIME Minister Kamla Persad-ÂBissessar says security forces have seized approximately $1 billion worth of illegal drugs since her Government took office last year.
Persad-Bissessar, who heads the National SecuriÂty Council, reiterated that wealth, status and business conÂnections will not shield those behind the countryâs drug trade.
