JUST two days after the state of emergency was declared on July 18—and ten high-risk prisoners relocated to Teteron Barracks and Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas—a Defence Force soldier opened fire on a Coast Guard vessel patrolling Teteron Bay.
The Coast Guard vessel was part of beefed-up security measures for the detainees.
According to information obtained by the Sunday Express from multiple intelligence sources familiar with the incident, the shooting took place on July 20, approximately 7.48 p.m.
