TWENTY-YEAR-OLD Brian Lalla of Cashew Gardens, Longdenville, was killed along the Solomon Hochoy Highway near Mid Centre Mall in Chaguanas on Saturday, where a night of celebration with his younger brother turned into a tragedy.
Lalla was struck by a vehicle after reportedly staggering onto the roadway.
During an interview at their Cashew Gardens home yesterday, Lalla's younger brother, Jeremiah Maharaj, 18, in recounting the incident, told the Express the two were celebrating Lalla's first 'big' pay cheque hours before the fatal accident.
