'Staggering' man killed on highway

A PEDESTRIAN was killed in a road traffic accident after reportedly staggering onto the roadway.
The latest incident took place on Saturday morning along the Solomon Hochoy Highway near Mid Centre Mall. The deceased has been identified as Brian Lalla, 20, of Cashew Gardens, Longdenville.
Police said the accident occurred around 12.30 a.m. on May 16, as a silver Nissan Almera was proceeding north along the highway in the left lane and merging onto the lay-by leading to Chaguanas Main Road.
