Police are investigating a house breaking and larceny incident involving two residents of Arima that occurred on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, a 71-year-old woman had just returned home to D’Abadie, from overseas around 8 a.m. Her friend, aged 36, arrived shortly afterward.
Around 8:30 a.m., the homeowner reportedly heard the sliding gate open and saw a male intruder inside the premises. The man, described as fair-complexioned, of mixed descent, approximately six feet tall with an afro and muscular build, was wearing a light blue T-shirt and blue three-quarter pants. He reportedly ordered both women to remain quiet.
