As anticipation builds for African Emancipation Day tomorrow, entrepreneurs at the Lidj Yasu Omowale Emancipation Village say business is gathering momentum after a typically slow start.

Some vendors told the Express that foot traffic and sales have increased over the past two days, while several welcomed what they described as the village’s move further east on the Queen’s Park Savannah, saying the new layout has enhanced the experience for vendors and visitors alike.
