The woman who fell while exiting a Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) bus and suffered severe injuries to her left arm on Thursday has been identified as 69-year-old Hassina Mathura.
A police report stated that Mathura of Palmyra Village, was on a bus proceeding east along the Naparima/Mayaro Road, when she signalled the driver to stop in the vicinity of AJ’s Auto in Palmyra at around 1pm.
The 58-year-old driver told police Mathura lost her balance while attempting to get off the vehicle, causing her to fall.
