THE sister of the woman whose arm was crushed last week by the wheel of a Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) bus as she fell out of the vehicle says she is recovering well and appears to be in good spirits.
The Express was told that 69-year-old Hassina Mathura currently remains hospitalised at the San Fernando General Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Mathura’s sister, Ashmoon Lalchan, said yesterday that her sister’s arm has not been amputated but that doctors had intervened installing wires and screws to support the injured appendage.
