Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar marked her 73rd birthday yesterday by reaffirming her love for the people of Trinidad and Tobago and calling on the nation to vote on Monday for national renewal and transformation.
“Today I celebrate my 73rd birthday. Make no mistake, there is more love for the people of this country within my small body than you can ever find in the current Government and their financiers,” she said at a United National Congress (UNC) meeting last night at the La Joya Sporting Complex car park in St Joseph.
“You have had leaders before me, you will have leaders after me, but you will never ever have a leader who loves you more than I do,” she continued.
