A 47-year-old woman was dragged to the ground during a robbery at the Trincity Mall car park on Thursday night.

Police said that around 7.30 p.m., the woman was walking with her husband towards their vehicle in the south-western car park of the mall, near Tru Valu, when two men exited a silver-grey Nissan Tiida parked nearby.

The men reportedly shouted, “Wah in dah bag dey!” before one of them grabbed the woman's handbag. In the struggle, the woman fell to the ground and was dragged a short distance before releasing her grip.
