Bandits beat an elderly man and two relatives in a home invasion and robbery in Penal on Monday night.

The 84-year-old man was sitting on the porch of his home around 9 p.m. when two men stormed in and began to beat him and the two other family members.

The bandits stole cash, cell phones and jewelry, then escaped in an unknown direction.
