A 75-year-old penÂsionÂer was found dead in his kitchen on ThursÂday night, and poÂlice have since arÂrestÂed his menÂtalÂly ill son in conÂnecÂtion with the inÂciÂdent.
The body of PeÂter BanÂfield was disÂcovÂered around 8 pm at his home at LP #14 Mamoral Road, FlanaÂgin Town, by a relÂaÂtive who had been alertÂed by BanÂfield’s sisÂter.
The woman told poÂlice she reÂceived a call from her mothÂer, who said BanÂfield’s son, ChristoÂpher, had shown up at her house beÂhavÂing susÂpiÂciousÂly.
