MINISTER in the Ministry of Housing Phillip Alexander is fighting back against social media critics who have bashed him for parking in a disabled parking spot in front of SuperPharm in Maraval on Sunday.
The minister received backlash for parking in the disabled parking spot after a photo of him doing so was posted by former culture minister Randall Mitchell on his Facebook page. The post included audio with a voice that appears to be Alexander's saying: 'A man from the Judiciary wanted to get in a physical fight with me outside Hi-Lo West Mall for telling him and his Mercedes Benz that he should not be parking in the handicapped parking if he is not handicapped.' The audio then switches to the sound of 'a few moments later' which is a meme from popular children's animated series SpongeBob SquarePants.
Under Mitchell's post one commenter wrote 'Do as I say and not as I do.'
