A 25-year-old Venezuelan woman was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday and remains missing.
According to police, around 9 a.m. on Monday a 35-year-old labourer from Couva arrived at a police station and reported that around 8.30 p.m. the previous night he dropped off the victim who is slim built, fair skin in complexion, straight long black hair, wearing a pink skirt and white top at Double Palm Inn car park located at Derrick Road Chase Village to meet a friend.
The man saw her enter a black Toyota Aqua bearing partial registration PED 7--. He then exited the Double Palm compound and whilst parked on the roadway, he began to hear calls for help and recognised that to be the voice of the victim. He then observed the black Aqua driving off with the victim inside.
