A slaughter took place in the Rifle Hill area of Belmont on Thursday morning, leaving two people dead, and three wounded, including an infant boy and his mother.
According to early reports, heavy gunfire was heard in the Francois Valley Road area shortly before the victims were discovered. Emergency services responded to the scene and the injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed that two men were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Anthony Wilson, also known as “Monster,” and Akiel Caffie, also called “Fats.”
