A sales­man was held up at gun­point and robbed of mon­ey and a case of Mon­ster bev­er­ages while con­duct­ing sales in La Brea on Wednes­day.

The 51-year-old man was con­duct­ing sales around 2:05 pm at Cindy's Par­lour at Lane 1, Ves­signy Vil­lage, when two men, armed with a cut­lass and firearm, ac­cost­ed him.

They robbed him of his wal­let, con­tain­ing $500 which rep­re­sent­ed the day's sales, and a case of Mon­ster en­er­gy drink val­ued $345. They then ran off. Sgt Seu­rat­tan and Ram­sun­dars­ingh of the La Brea Po­lice
