A 25-year-old woman claimed she was kid­napped, beat­en and sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed by her chil­dren’s fa­ther dur­ing a ter­ri­fy­ing or­deal on Sun­day night.

She said the at­tack be­gan around 9.30 pm af­ter the 33-year-old sus­pect came to her home. She told in­ves­ti­ga­tors that her for­mer com­mon-law hus­band, with whom she shared a nine-year re­la­tion­ship, came to col­lect mon­ey for their chil­dren and mes­saged her via What­sApp to meet him at his ve­hi­cle.
