A 16-year-old male was arrested Monday morning after his vehicle collided with a marked police car in the Cumuto Police District.

According to police, at approximately 7:55 a.m. a marked police vehicle driven by PC Herbert was traveling north along Cumuto Main Road near Hill Top Road when the officer observed a school child fall into a manhole. The officer stopped to render aid.

While attending to the child, PC Herbert reportedly heard a crash and discovered that a car driven by a 16-year-old had collided with the rear of the police vehicle.
