(Kaieteur News) – A clerk attached to the Anna Regina Town Council was fined $25,000 on Friday after pleading guilty to refusing a breathalyser test.
Aryan Doodnauth appeared before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir at the Anna Regina Magistrates’ Court, where he entered the guilty plea.
Police said Doodnauth refused to take the test on June 21 after ranks stopped him along the Anna Regina Public Road, Essequibo Coast, Region Two, during a routine roadside exercise.
