The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued an Adverse Weather Alert (Yellow Level) in effect from 12.01 pm to 7.01 pm today.
The Met Office said there is a 60 per cent chance of thunderstorm activity linked to low-level convergence. Heavy rainfall is expected, with the possibility of street and flash flooding, localised ponding and landslips.
Gusty winds may also accompany heavy showers and thunderstorms.
