Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has confirmed that the state of emergency (SoE) will be extended for another three months.
The Prime Minister said that a motion to extend the SoE has been placed on the Order Paper for the House of Representatives, which will meet on Friday.
She said yesterday that the decision to extend the SoE came as a result of a recommendation from Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro.
