Police are probing a violent home invasion in Hermitage Village, Macaulay, where two armed men tied up a family, assaulted a woman, and escaped with over $1.5 million in valuables along with the family’s vehicle.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Friday, when a 42-year-old woman arrived at her home and was ambushed in her garage by two men dressed in dark clothing, masks, and gloves.
One of the attackers pushed the woman against a water pump, injuring her right hand and left eye before forcing her up the stairs at knifepoint. The suspects used her keys to enter the house, where they tied her hands and those of her 14-year-old relative, who had been in the living room.
