Christopher Lewis has been acquitted of attempting to murder his a former schoolmate, Jeffrey Bonaparte.
Lewis accused the victim and others of fabricating the allegation against him because he (Lewis) was a State witness in a matter involving their friend.
Justice Nalini Singh rejected this defence but found Lewis not guilty of attempted murder, shooting with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of firearm and ammunition, as she found that Lewis’ identification as the shooter had not been proven in the case.
