US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Friday that U.S. forces carried out another strike on a vessel that had departed Venezuela, killing four men described as “narco-terrorists” in what has now become the fourth such operation in less than a month.
Hegseth announced the attack in a post on X, sharing military footage of the strike. “Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike, and no U.S. forces were harmed in the operation.
The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics — headed to America to poison our people,” he wrote.
