Trinidad and Tobago was gripped by Modi-mania yesterday, which included Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar delivering a heartfelt speech celebrating the ancestral and cultural ties between Trinidad and Tobago and India.

From the moment Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s feet touched the ground at the old Piarco airport just after 4 p.m., he received a warm Trinbago welcome.
