WASA launches $20M wastewater project in Beetham Gardens

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), in partnership with the Ministry of Public Utilities, today officially launched a TT$20 million wastewater pipeline replacement project aimed at bringing long-awaited relief to the residents of Beetham Gardens.
The major infrastructure intervention seeks to resolve persistent, longstanding sewerage issues caused by the deterioration of the community’s main wastewater pipeline.
Leading a media engagement and worksite tour at the corner of 5th Street and Main Road, Minister in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Clyde Elder, reaffirmed the government's dedication to delivering critical infrastructure improvements nationwide.
