(Kaieteur News) – The Rotary Club of Garden City Georgetown recently handed over 25 maternity hampers to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) in observance of Maternal and Child Health month.
In close collaboration with the maternity ward, healthcare professionals identified mothers who would benefit most from the initiative. These women are from communities across Guyana.
In a release from the Rotary Club, it was explained that the hampers are intended to provide practical support and comfort to mothers and their newborns during this important stage of their journey.
