…leading more than 1000 members across Caribbean
Guyanese medical doctor and community advocate Dr Kimberly Manbodh has assumed office as District Rotaract Representative (DRR) for Rotaract District 7030, becoming only the fifth Guyanese to hold the organisation’s highest elected office at the district level. Dr Manbodh officially began her one-year term on July 1, 2026, succeeding in the role as the 40th DRR in the district’s history. She will provide leadership to more than 1000 Rotaractors across 47 clubs in 17 countries and territories throughout the Caribbean.
A release from the organisation stated that her appointment marks another regional leadership achievement for Guyana, with responsibility for guiding the district’s strategic direction, supporting club leaders, overseeing district committees and representing Rotaract at regional and international forums. She will also coordinate district initiatives and lead preparations for the 2027 District Conference, which is scheduled to be held in Grenada.
