The candlelight vigil organised by the People’s National Movement, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today at the Croisee in San Juan, will proceed as planned.
This was the assurance given by the party’s political leader, Pennelope Beckles, earlier today during a news conference at the Office of The Leader of the Opposition on Charles Street in Port of Spain.
Her statement was in response to an advisory from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service earlier today regarding another event, “Walk for Peace”, carded for 3:00 p.m. today.
