A home invasion at the residence of an elderly couple in Santa Cruz and the theft of construction equipment from an unoccupied house in Woodbrook are among the incidents currently engaging the police’s attention.

TTT News understands that an elderly couple in Lower Santa Cruz were victims of a violent home invasion after they were awakened by gunmen who stormed their home in the early hours of Monday morning.

The 76-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were asleep in their bedroom when they were awakened by intruders at around 1:30am.
