Minister of National Security Marvin Gonzales has raised concerns about the political involvement of a former high-ranking officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
His was speaking during the formal opening of the San Rafael Police Station yesterday.
While Gonzales never called Roger Alexander by name, he referenced the recent resignation of a senior superintendent from the TTPS, criticising the officer for his swift transition into partisan politics and subsequent public statements discrediting the Police Service.
