NEW National Security Minister Marvin Gonzales has described his portfolio as a “heavy one” but said yesterday he believed every citizen of this country wanted a “complete turnaround” in crime.
Gonzales took his oath of appointment at the President’s House yesterday, leaving behind his previous portfolio as Public Utilities Minister and replacing former national security Fitzgerald Hinds.
Gonzales’ appointment followed the installation earlier at President’s House of Prime Minister Stuart Young, whose Cabinet was appointed after a reshuffle.
