The Government is pledging to support the Industrial Court in addressing longstanding challenges affecting the justice system, including staffing, infrastructure and the need for greater use of technology.
The commitment comes as the court reports a significant increase in its caseload over the past year, while continuing efforts to improve the delivery of justice.
President of the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago, Heather Seale, reported that 876 new cases were filed over the past year, 105 more than the 771 cases recorded the previous year.
