Roman Catholic Archbishop Jason Gordon has raised concerns about productivity and efficiency, and yesterday strongly criticised the ease of doing business in Trinidad and Tobago.
Speaking at the Industrial Court’s special service in celebration of its 60th anniversary at the Parish of the Assumption, Long Circular Road, Maraval, he said: “Our ease-of-doing-business ranking is appalling.
“We are 105 out of 190 nations (according to the World Bank’s 2020 Doing Business report). That alone tells us that the level of productivity and efficiency in Trinidad and Tobago is a significant problem.”
