NEW salaries for approximately 70 of its members and the absence of a deadline for backpay payments were among the concerns highlighted by the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers’ Association (TTUTA) during a silent protest yesterday.
TTUTA’s president Crystal Ashe spoke with members of the media during the protest at the Education Ministry’s head office on St Vincent Street in Port of Spain.
There were approximately 40 members of TTUTA with placards displaying numerous issues they want addressed.
