OPPOSITION LEADER Pennelope Beckles has called on the Government to tell the country the cost to taxpayers for last week's official visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After criticising the Government for putting CEPEP workers on the breadline, Beckles last Saturday said the cost of Modi's visit from July 3-4 must be publicly disclosed when the Parliament resumes in September.
She was speaking at a People's National Movement (PNM) public meeting in Enterprise, Chaguanas, under the theme, 'In Defence of the People'.
