Just days before the United National Congress Government marks one year in office, the Sunday Express visited Laventille and Gonzales, Port of Spain, to find out how life has been over the past year.
The PNM stronghold areas are currently represented by MPs Keith Scotland and Stuart Young.
The scene was one of desolation and loss of hope.
