The People’s National Movement (PNM) appears to be facing a battle in Tobago to retain control of the Tobago East and Tobago West constituency seats.

The Sunday Express spent three days in Tobago last week, moving around the island and speaking with residents ahead of the April 28 general election.

Many of them opined that a battle was brewing between two parties—the PNM and Tobago People’s Party (TPP) candi­dates David Tho­mas in Tobago East and Joel Sampson in Tobago West.
