A Special Report laid before Parliament has recommended that both the House of Representatives and the Senate take note of the conduct of Opposition Senator Janelle John-Bates.
The Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) Special Report, which was laid in the Parliament on Friday, warned that her continued presence could make other members uncomfortable and potentially undermine the effective functioning of Parliament.
The senator’s actions are expected to come under scrutiny this week when Parliament is set to debate the matter.
