AFTER a week in the custody of the State, Christopher Samaroo, the father of Joshua Samaroo, who was shot and killed by police in January was freed on $100,000 bail on Tuesday night.
Samaroo walked out of the Belmont Police Station around 8.30 p.m., after a justice of the peace granted him bail.
Earlier in the day, Samaroo, was released from the Port of Spain General Hospital where he had been warded for a number of days after complaining of feeling unwell while in police custody.
