Lawyers deny wrongdoing

IN June this year, the Express exclusively reported that the arrest of a sitting magistrate was imminent as law enforcement intensified its crackdown on white collar crime in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Express did not name the sitting magistrate.

However, attorney Prakash Ramadhar held a news conference at his San Fernando office where Chief Magistrate Brian Debideen was present following the publication of the report.
