THE Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service said both day and night temperatures are predicted to be above average for the country with high (70 per cent) probabilities for short-duration hot spells in October.
In its rainfall and temperature outlook for October to December 2025, the Met Service said there is a 68 per cent chance of warmer than average days in urban and built-up areas. It said the short duration hot spells could have maximum temperatures greater than 34 degrees Celsius in Trinidad and greater than 33 degrees Celsius in Tobago.
The organisation said moderate chances exist for near normal rainfall totals during October to December over TT, but there is a possibility of between 75-125 per cent of the average rainfall.
