TEMPERATURES across Trinidad and Tobago today are expected to reach a scorching 32 and 31 degrees Celsius, about 90 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit, respectively.
Despite the expectation of some brief showers from last night into today, the T&T Meteorological Service (TTMS) has forecast more heat, following the weekend’s predictions that temperatures at Piarco could soar to 33°C yesterday.
While no official warning against the heat has been made by health or weather officials, people took to social media yesterday to state that the midday to early afternoon period had seemed “the hottest ever”.
