Bandits made off with over $10,000 worth of sweets on Tuesday after they broke into a parked KC Candy truck.
Police reported that around 12:30 pm, the driver parked the marked truck, a white Isuzu five-tonne with an enclosed canopy on French Street, Woodbrook.
When he returned around 1:10 pm, he and the passenger got in the vehicle and drove off. While driving, they realised that the back door of the canopy opened. When they checked, they observed the locking system tampered with and a quantity of sweets and candies together valued $14,036.00 missing.
