Police are investigating the theft of nearly $12,000 worth of snack products from a delivery truck in Port of Spain on Tuesday morning.
Around 11:15 a.m. the delivery driver parked and secured an Isuzu three-ton truck on George Street near Hosein’s Roti Shop.
The truck, which was carrying goods belonging to Sunshine Snacks Associated Brands Limited, was left unattended for about 30 minutes. When the driver returned around 11:45 a.m., he discovered the vehicle’s lock missing.
