Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez this morning issued a warning to Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and the US Department of War, saying to the country, ‘do not dare,’ and to ‘take it easy.”
Speaking this morning from Sucre State, the region from which an alleged drug trafficking vessel struck down by the US last week is believed to have originated, Rodriguez referred to Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana’s governments as ‘vassal’ governments of the United States.
Rodriguez, who has previously acted as a liaison with former Prime Minister Stuart Young over potential energy negotiations between the two countries, said, “And from here, from Sucre state, a very clear message to the vassal governments of the United States Department of War, the government of Trinidad and Tobago, the government of Guyana: take it easy, do not dare, and do not even think about it.”
