Teen shot in head during police-military raid

A 19-year-old man who was on bail for offences of robbery with violence, larceny and shooting with intent died after a fatal confrontation with the police during a joint police and military operation at his mother’s home on Wednesday afternoon.

Aaron Anderson, 19, was shot in his mother’s house on Delhi Road and pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to the police report, officers of the Home Invasion Team and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force went to the house around 4.27 p.m. to execute a search warrant for arms and ammunition.
