The Embassy of Japan in Trinidad and Tobago is inviting local students seeking to pursue a Master’s degree or higher to apply for a Japanese-government funded scholarship programme to study in Japan in 2027
The 2027 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship Programme, which seeks to provide outstanding students opportunities to pursue higher education in Japan, is now open for applications.
According to the Embassy, the programme hopes to promote international exchange and foster global talent, while offering interested students admission fees, tuition fees, a monthly stipend and round-trip travel between Japan and Trinidad and Tobago.
