A 42-YEAR-OLD man was killed in a confrontation with police in El Dorado on yesterday. The incident took place around 1.30 p.m. at Lovers Lane.

Police said officers of the North Central Division Task Force responded to a report of domestic violence in progress.

Upon arrival, they said they heard a woman screaming for help from inside a house, and repeated calls for admittance to the premises went unanswered.
