A day after some Peoples National Movement (PNM) members called for the removal of Foster Cummings as PNM general secretary, he has responded in a scathing social media post.
In a Facebook post on Friday morning, Cummings said given the information circulating in the public domain, he was not consulted and did not approve of the strategy engaged by the party’s former executives to move forward in the April 28 general elections.
And to anyone opposed to his position in the PNM, Cummings said, they were free to offer themselves at the internal elections, which will be held soon.
